Well, we can't complain about the weather in Cuenca. Usually, the mornings are high teens and it reaches a high in the afternoon around 23 but feels hotter because the sun is very strong. But, the other day there was a huge storm, it rained buckets, caused flooding in the streets and it even hailed. I was caught out in it and couldn't get a cab or bus home from downtown, so I had to walk about 10 blocks in ankle deep water at times. I bought a $2 umbrella but it didn't do much good, as you can see.

Wow....that's what we call RAIN! We are supposed to get lots of rain too, on Friday! Just what we need with the wet snow already down! Ought to be 'interesting' if the street drains/& culverts get jammed with ice! Glad we live in the country.
Stay dry!!
Love ya

Greg,
I clicked on your picture to make it bigger and you are looking pretty tanned... lookin like the natives... and that hat, haha, looks like you sat on it before you put it on.:)
...and is that mud all over your shirt? how'd that happen..you look like you just survived a train wreck not a rain storm ...
Oh, it's a mixture of snow/rain here now in Ottawa...nice slushy roads for Mackenzie to drive on.
later,
cm
well now i guess i can say that i have a black uncle. cool
Hi Guys,
It is 0 degrees and snowing like crazy here, heavy snow. They didn't even cancel our meeting. We stayed half the meeting cause Mackenzie is getting a cold and has a sore throat and they are leaving tomorrow to Toronto for a field trip...had to pick up some drugs and she needs an early night... little worried about the roads as they are getting the same storm in TO but the big Greyhounds can go through anything. Taking the girls skiing at Lake Placid this weekend..hopefully the conditions will be good. ..assembly next weekend and then ... off for 2 weeks to the Big Island in the Pacific. That's all for now.
Stay thirsty my friends stay thirsty...
Dave
