People watching

If you like to people watch, come visit Ecuador. Here's a few pics of the people who live in Cuenca. Would like to post a couple of videos but our internet (we finally got it) won't handle it.... :P

One of the many outdoor markets in Cuenca.

Buying and selling in the park.

Gringo sighting at guitar shop. The woman attending the shop is crocheting a hat made out of straw.

You see many women carrying their loads on the streets. That is our apt building in the background.

Best buddies.

Photo opportunity in the park.

The sights you see! We saw these two walking in front of us on the way home. Lisa said they were "guys". I didn't get a front look at the one on the left but the one on the right wasn't a pretty sight. There was an English-speaking guy driving by and he yelled out to me "don't do it!!" as I was taking the picture. ha ha ha

Thanks for sharing your pics! Always nice to see how other people live!
Hope all is going well. No more downpours?? We have had unusually mild weather for early March...not that we are complaining! Hope it lasts until at least AFTER our c.a. on the 13&14th. We have the zone talk this sat. evening at 7 and Anne Olson's memorial talk at 1:30 the same day...at Gladstone K.H. Going to be a L O N G day since we will be out in service in the a.m. and have a Bible study before noon. Will have to RUN into Ottawa right from Winchester where the study lives. Tired already, and it isn't even Sat. yet!
Hope all is going well! Miss you and keep those pics coming. Love the commentary!
